Breathing through tubing for 10 minutes. It measures how much oxygen you have burned in 10 minutes. From that, it can determine your resting metabolic rate. That way you will know how fast or slow your metabolism is running. The test is paid for by insurance as long as you have a diagnosis to justify it.
