Charles Turner, M.D.
Physician & Founder
Board certified in family medicine, anti-aging medicine, obesity medicine and addictions. Dr. Turner completed his residency through the Medical College of Wisconsin, then spent four years in acute care and emergency medicine and a year in primary care in rural Tennessee before coming to Lafayette in 1997. He is married with two grown children.
Jill Pease, P.A.
Physician Assistant
Jill came to this work from orthopedics, and now practises mainly functional medicine and hormone therapy. She sees patients alongside Dr. Turner — follow-up visits, lab results, adjusting treatment between appointments — which for most patients means she is the person they see most often. She is a mother of four, and patients name her in their reviews more than anyone else in the practice.
Missy Galbreth, LMHC
Therapist
Missy earned her BS in psychology from Indiana University and her MS in agency counselling from Indiana State University. She has been a clinician for nearly twenty years and has been with Innovative Medicine since April 2013. Her recent focus is addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse and neglect, and how those tend to intersect.
Kassie Laflen
Certified Medical Assistant
A graduate of Harrison College, Kassie plays a central part in day-to-day patient care and is known in reviews for her warmth and her attention to detail.
Wendy Goodnight
Office Manager
Wendy runs the office and looks after the technical side of the practice — the systems, the records and the arrangements behind a visit. If something about an appointment, a form or a result needs sorting out, she is usually the one who sorts it.
Susan
IV Therapist
Susan looks after the practice's IV therapy patients. She is soft-spoken, attentive, and focused on the outcome for the person in the chair.
Carol
Weight Loss Counsellor
Carol works with weight-loss patients through the part that is hardest to do alone: the weeks between appointments. She goes through what is actually being eaten, what is getting in the way, and what to change next — so the plan Dr. Turner sets after the metabolic work-up is something a person can keep to.
Tracy
Weight Loss Counsellor
Tracy sees weight-loss patients through the long middle of the process, and a number of them have been coming to her for years. Her part of the work is the practical one — reviewing progress, adjusting the plan as the body changes, and being the person you answer to in the weeks between visits.
