Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information innovativemedicine.org collects, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Information you share as a patient of our practice is protected health information under HIPAA and is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you can ask for at the front desk.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you use the contact form, you give us your name, email, phone number if you add it, your city, a short note about what you need help with, and how you heard about us. Please do not include medical records or detailed health history. We will ask for what we need when we call you.
• Our online assistant. Messages you type into the chat are processed by an AI service provider so the assistant can reply. If you give the assistant your name and a phone number or email, our patient-care team receives them so we can call you back. The assistant answers questions about the practice. It does not give medical advice.
• Phone calls. Calls to our office outside business hours may be answered by a virtual assistant. Those calls may be recorded and transcribed so our team can follow up, and if you report something urgent, a summary is sent to Dr. Turner by text message and email.
• Analytics, only with your permission. If you choose “Allow analytics,” Google Analytics measures which pages are visited and whether a visit led to an appointment request. It never receives anything you type into the form or the chat. If you do not allow it, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. We do not use advertising pixels on this site.
• Basic site operation. Like any website, our servers log technical data such as IP address and browser type to keep the site secure. Cloudflare protects the site against abuse, our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots, and the site’s fonts are served by Google Fonts.

How we use it

To respond to you, schedule your visit, keep the site secure, and understand which pages help patients find us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies and your privacy choices

The only cookie set without your permission records your privacy choice itself. Analytics cookies are set only after you select “Allow analytics.” You can change your answer at any time with the Your Privacy Choices link at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw consent, the analytics cookies are deleted. We also honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, we treat it as a “no.”

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run the site and respond to you, under contracts that limit their use of your information: our hosting and security providers, email and text-message delivery, the AI and voice providers behind the online assistant, and, only if you allow analytics, Google. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Contact-form submissions, chat conversations and call records are kept as long as we need them to follow up with you and for our records, and then deleted. If you become a patient, your medical record is kept as Indiana law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising (we do none of these). We will not treat you differently for using these rights. Security

Please do not send personal health information through this website or by email. The site is served over an encrypted connection, but no website can guarantee complete security.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.
